When this picture was taken, this smiley child was about to become a huge basketball fan. Little did he know that in a few years this discipline would be shaping the rest of his life as he knew it.
Playing this sport brought him to study his mistakes, build on them and savour his victories. It helped him to embrace the skills and qualities he would then need in his professional roles: overcome adversity and obstacles, be resilient, while respecting others throughout good times and the bad.
After playing in the Turkish Basketball League as a teenager, he made good use of the qualities acquired in this fast-paced-sport to rise up to the top management of his Company, a giant provider of cleaning and hygiene products which helps hoteliers deliver the highest standards.
In the company for over 25 years, he has held different roles in R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, Corporate Accounts and General Management in multiple regions worldwide. Now working from Utrecht, he oversees global accounts, the global machines business and the Middle East and Africa region.
